Water
An adult human being body is almost 60% water. The water sources are expensive but remember the NITI Aayog survey has shown that by 2030, 21 cities in India will have no groundwater left that includes Delhi Mumbai and Bangalore and you'd recently watched Chennai's water crisis. This is a major issue but I m wandering if I knew how to produce water from air it would've been great fun.

But Now it is possible that the magic of producing water from air is now possible this magic has been made possible by the scientists team of Chennai T Pradeep professor of department of chemistry IIT Madras and his students Ramesh soni and Ankit Nagar have invented the machine vayujal that converts atmospheric humidity into clean drinking water. This technology is called atmospheric water generator AWG that is producing water from air.
HOW DOES THIS MACHINE WORKS?

The Methodology behind this machine is something similar to what plants do in the morning when you walk you see there's dew condensation on leaves very similar to leaves they have developed nanostructures on the matellic surfaces then cool them below dew point then atmospheric humidity condenses on these surfaces then this water can be filtered and minerals are added to it namely calcium, magnesium and sodium that's when the water becomes suitable for drinking.

The schools in which these machines have been installed are loving the taste of this air-water.

•Cost of this machine is around Rs50,000 for 30 litres per day and if you use it for 10 years,it would cost you around Rs5000 as a maintenance.

After making 30,100 and 400 litres machines this team is also making the machine that would supply 2000 litres of water per day which would be fully furnished with solar panels. That is it would produce around 8000 glasses of water and that too with clean energy with very low carbon footprint.
The hope that these scientists have given by producing water from air is a great achievement
